I’ll keep this short and sweet. After 7.5 years, I say goodbye to Okta. 7 different roles spanning everything from Product Marketing to Demand Marketing and everything in between. $100M~ in ARR to $2B+. The creation and re-invention of multiple market categories. From just a few thousand customers to north of 20,000. Truly iconic, and I consider myself lucky to have been a part of it. Todd McKinnon and Frederic Kerrest, it was a heck of a ride. As for what’s next, I’m excited to share that I’m starting my adventure as Chief Marketing Officer for Axonius. A few important considerations in choosing my next gig: (1) the opportunity to partner with fantastic founders in Dean Sysman Ofri Shur and Avidor Bartov who bring unparalleled expertise, integrity and intellectual curiosity. (2) a market opportunity that is massive, pervasive and untapped (CAASM) … and it’s just the beginning. (3) technology that customers love. Axonius delivers on all of this and more. The future is bright and I’m really excited to get started.

Twenty years ago, I made a big career leap, joining an up-and-coming tech start up based in San Francisco called Salesforce.com. I had always wanted to work in downtown San Francisco, but was reluctant to join another “.com” after the bubble had burst earlier in my career. Salesforce had IPO’d a couple of months earlier and was growing fast with around 500 employees primarily located in the historic 1 Market, across from the picturesque Ferry Building. Commuting from Marin County on the ferry was an upgrade over previous 100-mile round trip commutes to Silicon Valley. I liked the people, the product, and what felt like a good runway for growth. I had no idea the professional and personal journey I was about to embark on. Flash forward to twenty years later. Salesforce is a 25-year-old marketing leading tech company boasting more than 70,000 employees, iconic towers around the globe, and a stock that has soared at times to more than 11,000% since its public debut. During that span at Salesforce, I have sat front row on a wild roller coaster of growth, spanning professional services, sales, product, training, marketing, and C-suite engagement. I have found myself in a world I could never have imagined, working around the world with global luminaries, CEOs, political leaders, and celebrities. I have led a company-wide effort to raise more than $4M for the National MS Society with thousands of volunteers and supporters from across the ecosystem. Most importantly along each step of the way, I have worked with wonderful people. I built rich relationships with individuals and communities that have made me a stronger colleague, friend, husband, father, and human. I have learned so much professionally and personally through every person. I joyously laughed with the fun and insanity, but I have also cried as our lives evolved, events occurred, and complexity increased with age. That is why, after 20 years, I know that I will miss Salesforce deeply. It has been an important part of my life and is very intertwined with my identity. I’m very fortunate and grateful to have been at Salesforce this long and full of gratitude for all it has given me. The fear of regret over losing something so good in my life to the pursuit of something better is real. What I do next will most certainly be less magical than Salesforce, but will also be better in ways I can never anticipate.

Hey LinkedIn fam, I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about my journey as a Salesforce Business Analyst/Functional Consultant. Buckle up, it's been quite the ride! So, picture this: I started off in a more traditional business analyst role, doing my thing, crunching numbers, and mapping out processes. But then, I stumbled upon Salesforce, and let me tell you, it was like finding the missing puzzle piece. Suddenly, I saw the potential to do so much more, to really shake things up and drive meaningful change. Fast forward to today, and I've had the privilege of not just dipping my toes, but diving headfirst into the world of Salesforce. From local gigs to collaborating with global teams, each step has been a wild adventure. Now, let's address the elephant in the room - why the switch? Well, it wasn't because I was unhappy or dissatisfied. Far from it. It's just that I'm a firm believer in making every moment count. For me, it's not about clocking in years; it's about the impact you leave behind. In every role, I've made it my mission to shake things up, challenge the status quo, and deliver solutions that pack a punch. Because let's face it, life's too short for mediocre spreadsheets and clunky processes, am I right? But here's the kicker - it's not just about the tech. It's about the people, the stories, and the connections we make along the way. That's what keeps me coming back for more, day after day. So, if you're curious about Salesforce, or if you're thinking about taking the leap into the tech world, I'm here to tell you - do it. Embrace the change, chase the impact, and never settle for anything less than extraordinary. Let's connect and swap stories. After all, isn't that what LinkedIn is all about? #salesforcejourney #BusinessAnalysis #TechAdventures #impact #salesforce

With the job search occupying my mind, I completely forgot to celebrate an important milestone last week. On the 3rd of September 2014, I was boarding my flight for London and the UK has now been my home for 10 years! So much has happened in a decade and things didn't go much according to plan. I came here for a Master Degree in Fashion and Marketing, I wanted to work for a Fashion magazine like Marie Claire or doing PR for an independent Designer. When I realised it was not going to happen, I needed a new plan and switched to the Tech Industry when I was welcomed by Venatrix for an assessment day that led to being hired by CloudSense as an SDR, my first experience in the Salesforce ecosystem. What started as a path full of uncertainties led to my career as I became more and more interested in the Tech Industry and how data could make a huge difference, not just to improve digital customer experience but also for Diversity & Inclusion and Sustainability. I eventually became an Alliances person which funnily is not so far from the PR person I thought I would be. 😊 I might be unemployed at the moment, but this is only a little set back in my career progression as I am confident this is only a matter of time before I find the next best thing! Did you always want to work in the Tech Industry or did you have other plans? #Milestone #MondayMotivation #CareerPath #TechIndustry

Hey Everyone! 👋 So, here's a plot twist in my career story that I couldn't wait to share with you all some time ago i experienced a setback that many of us can relate to - the sting of rejection. After eagerly applying for a position at my dream company, Salesforce, and making it through to the interview stage, I received the disappointing news that I hadn't been selected. Sure, it stung a bit 😔. But you know what? Every setback is just a setup for a comeback, right? 🙌 Instead of feeling down, I'm using this as fuel ⛽ to grow and learn even more. Maybe I need a little more experience before I'm ready to rock it at Salesforce, and that's cool. It's all part of the journey. But mark my words, I'll be there one day! 💼 To anyone else feeling a bit bummed by rejection, just remember: it's not a full stop, just a comma in our story. Let's keep pushing forward, keep learning, and keep chasing those dreams! 🌈✨ PS: Embrace every setback as a setup for a spectacular comeback! 🚀💥 Here's to staying positive, keeping the faith, determination, and knowing that our dream job is just waiting for us to grab it with both hands! 🌠💪 #salesforcecommunity #salesforcecareers #salesforcejourney #salesforcejobs #EmbraceTheUnexpected #DreamChaser #PlotTwist #CareerJourney #KeepPushingForward #Resilience #SuccessMindset

Welp, winding down my last day at the Ohana! Grateful to have had the opportunity to work at Salesforce, one of the best companies on the planet delivering solutions that transform the way businesses operate. A few parting thoughts... First: If you're not a Slack customer, you need to reach out and become one. Slack is not just a chat tool. In a world of distributed employees, it is HANDS DOWN the best platform for work in the world. Just try it out. You'll see. Second: Before coming to Salesforce, I thought Salesforce was easy to sell because I've been using it my entire career (except one place that used Dynamics #yikes). Couldn't be more wrong there. Whether it's dozens of users or hundreds or thousands, convincing companies to invest in Salesforce includes convincing multiple stakeholders to understand that the success of the investment entails changing the way the operate at their core. It's tough work, but unbelievably fulfilling. Third: I have too many people to thank for my experience here, but to all of my colleagues that spent time teaching me the ropes and working through tough deals with me, know that I'll never forget it and will happily support you with a reference or recommendation if you need one. Can't wait to officially announce my new journey next week!

🌊🌊 When did you decide what you wanted to do for a career?? 🌊🌊 Have you even decided ???? #salesforce #salesforcejobs #salesforcerecruitment #salesforceohana #salesforcetraining #salesforcecertified
🌊 Helping Businesses and Salesforce Professionals connect. Trusted by Admins and CTA's to deliver! ☁️ 2x Salesforce Certified ☁️ The UK's first Double Star Ranger Recruiter ⭐⭐ 🌊🌊
🌊🌊 Decisions, Decisions. 🌊🌊 Seems to be a lot of people with decisions to make at the moment as things in the Ecosystem appear to be changing. ⛈ Sometimes important decisions need to be made at home first. 🏡 Currently on the list of choices to be made in my household is the first big one about which A-levels my daughter might take. Boy, this one’s tough. 🤯🤯 👨🏼🎓 GCSE’s didn’t seem to present too much of a problem and although the workload at times is challenging (she’s doing 11 subjects) Choosing which ones wasn’t too hard as we had to only let a couple of subjects go. 👩🏼🎓 However, to go from 11 down to 3 or 4 is proving much more difficult. The problem is this. She has just turned 16. And like most 16-year-olds doesn’t really have much of an idea what career she would like to do. ❓ Tik Tok legend is not an option ‼ Now the sage advice in this position is to try and keep your options as open as possible. Pick stuff you like. You’ll be studying these subjects in depth, so you need to at least enjoy them! 😊😊 What’s the consequence of this, does it make you too generalist? Are you shutting off some careers that require a very specific set of subjects? If you are really unsure, are there better paths into the next stage of life outside of A-Levels? Honestly, it’s a bit daunting and quite stressful. And that’s me I’m talking about! 🤣 To try and help her, I looked at my path and choices. In truth, I drew a blank. No-one chooses at 16 to get into the recruitment industry. If anyone tells you different, they’re lying. 😲🤭 ☁ Salesforce - it had only been going a few years back then! I didn’t even know it existed ☁ That choice came later, following several exciting and different avenues I explored, largely by chance and circumstance (another story!) So, I’m little help! I guess this week will be heated debate (screaming matches), frantic calls to school, and several decisions, and changes of mind! D-Day is Friday! 📅 How did you decide? #decisionday #alevels #salesforce #salesforcerecruitment #salesforcejobs #salesforceohana

Ten years ago today, I embarked on a journey that shaped the trajectory of my career in ways I couldn't have imagined. Thanks to a memory from Facebook, I was reminded of the day I stepped into my first full-time Salesforce role as a Sales Operations Administrator and Developer. The excitement and the hint of nervousness in those words reflect a younger me, eager to dive into the Salesforce ecosystem. Little did I know, this role was just the beginning of an incredible journey. Fast forward to today, and the landscape of my professional journey has evolved dramatically. From embracing the nuances of Salesforce in that initial role to founding Krahnborn, a Salesforce Consulting Partner specializing in Revenue Cloud, the journey has been nothing short of exhilarating. Each project, each challenge, and each success has been a building block for my expertise and our company's growth. Reflecting on the past decade, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities, the mentorship, and all of the learning experiences that have come my way. The Salesforce community has been a bedrock of support and inspiration, fueling my passion and commitment to excellence. As Krahnborn continues to scale, and as I look forward to the next decade, I'm excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. The landscape of technology and Salesforce is ever-evolving, and so are we. Here's to many more years of innovation, learning, and shared successes! #Salesforce #CareerJourney #ReflectingBack #LookingForward #SalesforceEcosystem #ProfessionalGrowth #ThankYou
