In the 2nd month of the National Football League (NFL) season, several #NFL teams made big jumps for our October social rankings. ⬆ The Pittsburgh Steelers increased their social value 20% from September to move into the top spot for October. ⬆ The Washington Commanders shot up 12 spots with 70% more impressions and 57% more engagement than last month. ⬆ The Green Bay Packers went undefeated and were a top 10 team on social in October, moving up six spots from their September ranking. #socialmedia #smsports #sportsbiz #linkedinsports #sportsbusiness

Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the best in tech and media, from startups to multinational giants. In 2016, I returned to Virginia from the Bay Area and joined a passionate team at Zoomph, innovating at the intersection of sports and media. Since then, I’ve watched Zoomph evolve into a best-in-class platform for social measurement and broadcast analytics. Today, I’m thrilled to announce my return to Zoomph to lead Internal Operations. I’m incredibly grateful to join such a talented team of sports, tech, marketing, and media professionals. The perfect welcome back? World Series sponsor Capital One's logo placement all over the big moment translated to 624 MILLION logo impressions and $1.79 MILLION in brand value across social and broadcast.
This year's star-studded Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Yankees World Series is expected to be HUGE for Major League Baseball (MLB) and features the two most valuable #MLB teams on social media this season. During the regular season the Dodgers and Yankees combined for 3.4 BILLION impressions and 150 MILLION engagements. Generating over $139 MILLION in total social value between them, they accounted for 25% of this season's total team social value.
