I’m thrilled to share that Rising Team is announcing our Series A funding of $8M 🎊🎉 This funding round, led by Zeal Capital Partners and supported by our previous investors Peterson Ventures, Roble Ventures, Female Founders Fund, Burst Capital, and Supernode Ventures, will be transformative for us: 🔥 We’re expanding to serve more managers and teams across more industries 🔥 We’re enhancing our platform with a personalized AI leadership coach 🔥 We’re growing our team—yes, we’ll be hiring! If you’re new to Rising Team, here’s a little background: Our software enables managers to lead research-backed team development workshops and connection-building exercises that increase trust and improve team performance without an outside facilitator. By running these software-guided team sessions, Rising Team customers see 20-80% lifts in employee engagement, psychological safety, eNPS, and manager effectiveness 🙌 I believe Rising Team is uniquely poised to address the two things that will be vital to high-performing teams in modern workplaces: 1️⃣ Building deep, human connections to improve how we work together 2️⃣ Using AI to make day-to-day work more efficient When I wrote the original outline for Rising Team, I had a section about a personalized AI coach. Although I could envision it, the technology wasn’t yet available to build it…until now. This summer, we’re introducing aRTi, a conversational AI leadership coach that combines research-based leadership best practices with unique insights about individual team members gathered from Rising Team sessions. aRTi will provide personalized recommendations and scripts, helping managers and their teams give effective feedback, accommodate working style preferences, show appreciation, and more. We are immensely grateful to have found a partner in Nasir C. Qadree and the team at Zeal that passionately believes in our product and is eager to elevate it.
