2024 will mark my third year of being a #LevisPartner! Since 2022, I was part of the original #LevisCollegePartner campaign at Arizona State University. In that time, I was given a platform to highlight my AAPI background, advocate for sustainability, and continue to curate my own personal style. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to continue a partnership with a brand that I truly share so many values with. What a great start to the semester! ICYMI - #PeaceCorpsTour hit the road this September. In just 7 activation days we captured the attention and impacted the minds of 1800+ attendees up and down the East Coast. 🌏 Gen Z learned what it means to #serveboldly through international snacks, intentional conversation, and engaging + educational activities. For many, this was their first experience with the Peace Corps and hearing about the opportunity to volunteer post-grad. I overheard many students say they were interested in exploring this as a post-college opportunity and look forward to applying to volunteer. As someone who is eager to make a positive impact on the world, this was music to my ears. In high school, I made it a priority to volunteer in my local community by working with the youth and underserved in #TriangleNC with my YMCA Leaders Club. This inspired me to take a #gapsemester to backpack Southeast Asia to see the world, embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth, and make an impact. While volunteering at local villages, schools, and an Elephant Nature Park in the countryside of Laos and Thailand, I received the gift of learning from others while developing a deeper understanding of cultures, resilience, and a sense of self. This year I returned to my local YMCA to be a volunteer advisor to the organization that built me. I am excited to continue to transform the lives of students by providing opportunities for self-discovery and development for Middle and High School Leaders. I am also excited to provide similar opportunities for college students to learn and grow in their careers as their manager for experiential, ambassador, and influencer programs at Youth Marketing Connection #PeaceCorpsTour is one of the most challenging yet rewarding projects I’ve worked on at YMC. I couldn’t be more proud + thankful for the support of my team. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the 2023-24 year holds!
