Hi everyone 💖 I want to share this amazing accomplishment with you. After completing the three-month Make An Impact Fellowship Program, I became an Impact fellow 🤩 During this journey, I discovered these six intriguing tracks: 1. Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2. Personal Branding 3. Networking 4. Recognizing Opportunities 5. Holding Interviews for Information 6. Creating an Action Plan for Personal Growth This program means a lot to me as it was the first thing I have accepted in. The hardest and best aspect of the program was interviewing a professional. I wasn't sure who to choose or how to go about it, but it was simple in the end because I simply had to meet my mentor for the Technovation Girls competition and she graciously accepted; I truly appreciate this. The second significant point is that I gained a great deal of knowledge about Sustainable Development Goals and made the serious decision to create a project that solves one of these problems I'm overjoyed to have been given this wonderful chance and to make friends from Egypt and other nations who share my interests. 🚀 Casi un mes como IBM Z Student Ambassador y esto es lo que he aprendido 🎓 Principalmente, me he estado capacitando en las tecnologías que hacen funcionar los mainframes IBM Z. Aunque COBOL es uno de los lenguajes utilizados en estos sistemas, es solo una pequeña parte de todo lo que estas máquinas pueden hacer. ¡También soportan Node.js y Python! 🖥️✨ Los mainframes son computadoras extremadamente potentes, diseñadas para manejar y procesar grandes volúmenes de datos en paralelo, soportar múltiples usuarios y aplicaciones simultáneamente, y más. Son conocidos por su capacidad de manejar millones de transacciones por segundo, soportando cargas de trabajo intensivas de manera efectiva, confiable, segura y escalable. 🌐🔒 De hecho, los mainframes IBM Z tienen tiempos de inactividad de solo milisegundos por año. ¡No es casualidad que la "Z" en IBM Z sea por Zero Downtime! ⏱️🔧 Lo mejor es que podemos trabajar con mainframes desde la comodidad de nuestro hogar gracias a zowe-cli, herramienta respaldada por la Linux Foundation.
