What an extraordinary display of community and collaboration! Our team at the Y co-hosted a health innovations roundtable with our friends at the North Carolina Alliance of YMCAs, Inc. today at the Southeast Raleigh YMCA, welcoming national, state and local health leaders for what we hope is the first of many collaborative discussions. When the YMCA of the Triangle community comes together, the result is truly amazing. On Friday, more than 100 Y staff and volunteers came together to load and unload four 26-foot box trucks absolutely filled with hurricane relief supplies collected from our 19 branches. Thanks to the coordination from the North Carolina Alliance of YMCAs, Inc., those trucks begin heading west today and will support our sister Ys in Western North Carolina and their distribution efforts in impacted communities. #ymca #ymcacommunity #hurricanerelief #ncnonprofit

Volunteers needed tomorrow! We're so humbled by the amazing response to our call for donations to support our neighbors in the Western part of the state who've been impacted by Hurricane Helene. I’m excited to share that we officially broke ground on our new YMCA Youth Center last week! This marks an incredible milestone for our Y, as we continue our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing space for kids and teens to learn, grow and thrive.
