WTS Lunch & Learn-SLC Olympics 2034-Next Steps SLC has been awarded the 2034 Olympics, so what are the next steps to make sure the region is ready from a transportation standpoint? Come hear from the region's transportation industry leaders on how we, as a transportation community, can be prepared for 2034. Bikes, Birds & Bridges: A bike tour along West Davis Corridor Get your bicycle and binoculars ready for a fun Fall outing! Join WTS Utah for a bike tour of a portion of West Davis Corridor where we will view the various bridges along the corridor and learn about mitigation lands that were created with the project. As we tour the corridor along the bike paths, Darlene Batatian will help identify the rich diversity of birds, a Nature Conservancy coordinator will talk about the mitigation lands, and representatives from the Construction Management Team for the Project will give insights on the construction challenges of the WDC project.  When: Thursday, Sep 26, 2024 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM MDT Where: West Davis Corridor. We will be meeting just West of I-15 along the corridor (actual location TBD). Come prepared to be outdoors for several hours.
