The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce held it’s quarterly breakfast club at AC Hotel here in Worcester and our Sales Rep Giovanni Blue had the amazing opportunity to meet the keynote speaker, Governor Maura Healey, and have a brief conversation with her. Maura Healey is the 73rd Governor of Massachusetts. In 2022, she became the states first first woman and first openly LGBTQ person elected to the position. She’s a leader that definitely deserves her respect.

Their journey began when they acquired the bakery from its previous owner, Betty, two years ago.  With a focus on preserving the bakery's legacy while infusing it with their own flair, Mara and Amy embraced social media to connect with the community and attract new customers. Their welcoming atmosphere, complete with a menu of tasty treats and great coffee in a cozy place to sit and relax quickly made the bakery a neighborhood favorite. The absolutely delicious cakes and pastries served here are well worth the trip to Pleasant St in Worcester! The duo has always prioritized supporting local initiatives and fostering close-knit bonds with their customers.
