Thanks to the Australian Museum for hosting our Cultural Event, a collaboration with Hoops Capital, the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames. The event was held to celebrate the diversity within the team. The Welcome to All was performed by David Lasika and emceed by football iconic Dean Widders. Robyn Denholm addressed the group highlighting the importance of family “We acknowledge the important role families play as our support system in everyday life, especially when you are performing at the top of your game and trying to achieve your very best.” Guests experienced a panel discussion with Flames star Cayla George, head coach of the Sydney Kings Brian Goorjian, head coach of the Sydney Flames Guy Molloy and Kings legend Shaun Bruce. We look forward to continuing this important work with Hoops Capital and the Australian Museum. #WollemiCapitalGroup #HoopsCapital
Thank you to the Australian Museum for hosting the Sydney Kings, Sydney Flames and our team for our Cultural Celebration. Hoops Capital takes pride in the cultural diversity within our organisation. Working with the Australian Museum and our Hoops Capital team, we connected with the knowledge, practices and culture of our First Nations and Pasifika communities. We were welcomed with an address from Robyn Denholm. Robyn spoke about the importance of family and community when it comes to performing at elite levels of sport. We then heard from an experienced panel discussion with Cayla George, head coach of the Sydney Kings Brian Goorjian, head coach of the Sydney Flames Guy Molloy and Shaun Bruce. We’re grateful to have worked with our wonderful emcee and sporting icon Dean Widders and David Lasika who performed the Welcome to All. Thanks to our amazing team and their families for coming along to this cultural immersion. #BringTheHeat #FlameOn
