It’s been a little over a week since I completed my internship with Wisenbaker Builder Services in their Austin branch. In this 9-week internship program, I had the opportunity to see various roles in the company. After spending some time at each I got to choose which area I wanted to concentrate in. I chose the Order Logistics department where I was tasked with data entry, ordering material, and quoting builders. I not only learned so much about the Inside Operations of Wisenbaker, but also about home building as a whole. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a great company. Thank you Shannon Kindred Nance, MACARENA SASTRE FERNANDEZ, Tonja F. Smith, CPC for making the whole recruiting/onboarding process as easy as possible! Thank you Bryan Tabor and the whole Inside Ops team at Austin, for being so supportive and welcoming. I am thrilled to share that I have successfully concluded my design center internship at Wisenbaker Builder Services this past week. This experience has been amazing, incredibly enriching, and transformative while also being filled with learning and unforgettable experiences. Throughout my internship, I have had the opportunity to: ⚫ Collaborate and work alongside the talented team of designers. ⚫Gain hands-on experience in design and innovative projects. ⚫Develop new skills and deepen my understanding of the industry. ⚫Shadowed designers in over 30 design appointments. ⚫Sit with designers while they design spec homes. ⚫Sit with designers as they prep for their appointments and then watch them process once their appointments are over. ⚫And update and send out reports. I am immensely grateful to the Wisenbaker Builder Services design team for welcoming me back and for their guidance and support. They also provided me with such a positive and dynamic learning environment. I am also thankful for the mentorship that the design team gave me that helped guide me throughout this journey. Their insights and encouragement have been invaluable. This internship has significantly contributed to my professional growth and inspired me to pursue my passion for design and the residential new construction market. Thank you to everyone who made this journey possible and so memorable. I am excited to take the next steps in my career with the knowledge and skills I have gained. #Wisenbaker

This year, Wisenbaker is proud to donate school supplies to Accompanied by Gods Love, Inc. (AGL), a dedicated non-profit providing compassionate, faith-based foster care and adoption services since 2011. I am pleased to announce the successful completion of my summer internship with Wisenbaker Builder Services in Houston! During this internship, I gained valuable insights into the construction and home building industry, including the various departments essential to the company's operations and the steps necessary for its success. My primary focus was on the Account Management department, where I developed skills in client relationship building, business acquisition, and management strategies. I am profoundly grateful to the Wisenbaker team for this exceptional opportunity and the valuable lessons I have learned. I look forward to starting my senior year at Texas A&M University and finishing my Business Management and Entrepreneurial Leadership degree this upcoming May 2025. I am extremely excited for the future!! Gig ’em!
