Exciting news! Our incredible Wilson Literacy team made its first international visit to Prince Edward Island Public Schools Branch! The district recognizes Fundations as a cornerstone of its Structured Literacy approach, essential for building strong foundational reading skills. PEI uses Fundations Levels K-2 across the district and has now expanded to include Level 3 this school year. Plus, 9 schools are piloting Just Words to address pandemic-related learning loss, with hopes to extend this Tier 2 program to more students. Amazing progress! Keep up the great work, PEI! #StructuredLiteracy #ScienceofReading #Fundations #LiteracyForAll

Wilson Language Training was proud to sponsor Drexel University's School of Education’s Science of Reading Day on September 26. The event featured a screening of “Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars,” a documentary by Harvey Hubbell, panel discussions, dyslexia simulation activities, and a resource fair. We are thrilled to share that our founder, Barbara Wilson, received Drexel’s Friends of Education Award for her extraordinary contributions to literacy education. Wilson team members including Literacy Advisor Elizabeth Schaper, Dyslexia Training Specialist Makenzie Buhman, and Literacy Specialists Lynn Marta and Rachael Burg, also participated in this remarkable day. #ScienceofReading #DyslexiaAwareness #Dyslexia #LiteracyForAll #LiteracyMatters #Literacy #EmployeeAppreciation #EmployeeSpotlight #TeamRecognition Drexel University
