Leadership Wilmington kicked off this week with a session about arts, history and culture, strengthening the class' appreciation for the artistic and cultural landscape here. The class started their day at the Cape Fear Museum of History & Science to learn about Wilmington's rich history, then traveled to the Cameron Art Museum for a tour. They heard from Johnny Griffin, Director of the Wilmington Film Commission. The class went on a Black History tour around town, then traveled to Thalian Hall for a behind-the-scenes look at the theater, and ended the day at the Wilson Center on CFCC's campus! Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this first session for Leadership Wilmington's Class of 2025 an entertaining and enriching one!
