In her role, she gained valuable experience in the operations of our Membership Department, assisting at our welcome desk with tasks like greeting community members, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service. When asked about her internship experience, Veronica shared that her favorite part was interacting with Y staff and community members. She also appreciated the opportunity to develop new skills that will be invaluable in her future career. We’re thrilled to highlight our Summer 2024 Marketing & Communications intern, Paul! 💼🖥️ "This summer I had the opportunity to intern here at the WSYMCA with the marketing and communications team. I completed a variety of projects including analyzing social media reports, editing the website, creating Google Ad campaigns, assisting in the seasonal Fall Fest campaign and much more. While here I also learned how to use different applications such as Canva, Sprout, Google Ads and Constant Contact. I also learned what it's like working in a professional office setting and all the different challenges that come your way. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my summer." Paul has been a fantastic asset to the WSYMCA team this summer! We're incredibly grateful for Paul's hard work and dedication. We’re excited to see where his career journey takes him next. Good luck, Paul!
