YMCA President & CEO, joining board members, partners, donors & team members to improve lives and communities.
Ten years ago this month, the West Suburban YMCA Board of Directors, led by Board Chair Sandy Butzel, entrusted me to take the reins and lead our historic 140+ year old organization into the next decade and beyond. Today, we are twice the size we were only 5 years ago and serve over 15,000 individuals annually of all ages and backgrounds. The Y has been the antidote to every trial and tribulation our society has endured over the past 140 years due to our ability to pivot, through the commitment of our talented volunteer board members, dedicated staff, community partners, donors, members, and program participants. I am thankful that with over 22 years in the Y movement I have played a part of improving peoples lives day in and day out. I am excited to see the impact that the West Suburban YMCA will have in our communities in the future and encourage you to join us in our important work. Check out all the great things we are doing at wsymca.org or view our 2023 annual report at wsymca.org/our-impact
