From September 15 to October 15, we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, a time when we look back at the rich culture and history that forms our Hispanic and Latino Communities. West Palm Beach has a very diverse and dynamic Hispanic and Latino community, and the City works hard to recognize its leaders and help guide it to even greater prosperity. We’ll talk about it today on the City Center Podcast from West Palm Beach. Watch the video podcast here: https://lnkd.in/gGPG-8td

A significant weather event is approaching Florida. Hurricane Helene is intensifying and is expected to make landfall along the Gulf Coast within the next 48 hours; Palm Beach County is under a tropical storm warning. Although West Palm Beach is not in the eye of the storm, we do expect some impact from the outer bands of the storm such as winds up to 50 miles per hour and heavy rain and as such, power outages and flooding are a possibility. We encourage all residents to take this storm seriously and prepare accordingly. Stay safe and please keep an eye on weather updates from reliable sources.
