🌟 Wesleyan Follies: A Celebration of Community Talent! 🌟   What an incredible day at the Wesleyan Follies! Our talented neighbors showcased their amazing skills — from singing and dancing to the art of ventriloquism! Each performance brought joy and laughter, reminding us that we all have unique gifts to share. The cast and crew began work on the show with auditions in July and it all came together today!   We kicked off the festivities with a morning performance of the show for our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing neighbors, followed by a lively afternoon performance for our Independent Living residents. The smiles and laughter echoed throughout our community, proving that when we come together, we create something truly special.   Let’s continue to uplift one another and celebrate the vibrant talents within our Wesleyan family. Special thanks to Chef Yvrose and the dining team for organizing this wonderful experience, and creating a dining atmosphere filled with joy and warmth. 🇺🇲 The Wesleyan is proud to be an affiliate for the 8th Annual Georgetown Field of Honor®, held this year at San Gabriel Park! This awe-inspiring display of flags is a gift to the community, made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. Flags may be purchased to honor individuals who are active-duty military, fallen servicemen and servicewomen, first responders, all veterans, hometown heroes and heroes in our lives. All of these heroes honored the flag, and it is fitting that this display of flags should honor them. You can show your support and gratitude by buying a flag or making a donation; when you do so through our dedicated link, it not only contributes to the funds that support veterans but also raises funds for The Wesleyan. Your 3’ x 5’ U.S. flag will join an impressive field of over 2,000 flags, and each flag includes a dedication tag. Flags will fly the entire week of Veteran’s Day, Saturday, November 9 through Sunday, November 17, and are yours to keep after the event. We celebrated National Coloring Book Day with a splash of color and a whole lot of teamwork! 🖍 🌈   On this special day dedicated to the joy of coloring, we took a break from our busy schedules to connect, create, and unwind together. As we picked up our favorite colors and delved into the intricate designs of coloring books, we not only sparked our creativity but also strengthened our relationships with our fellow colleagues.   Through shared moments of laughter, inspiration, and collaboration, we painted a picture of unity and camaraderie within our team.
