Cultivating a global network of organizations and individuals fully committed to driving money into the hands of women business owners takes time, dedication, and a sustained commitment. We have been doing just that for 15 years (and we're definitely not stopping). Our recent activities in Costa Rica were a prime example of how collaborations are key to accelerating economic growth and providing women business owners with the resources and connections they need to thrive. We had the pleasure of meeting with senior leaders from Moody's Corporation, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology to discuss current and potential partnerships aimed at increasing investments into women-owned businesses in the region. Here’s to building stronger, more inclusive economies, one partnership at a time! 💪🌍 Adriana H. Yesterday, at #WEConnectAsiaPacific in Brisbane, Australia, WEConnect International and the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) officially signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at increasing connections between minority- and women-owned businesses and international corporate buyers. 🤝 Ying McGuire, NMSDC CEO and President: "While NMSDC’s most recent economic impact report shows an impressive double-digit growth for our certified MBEs, unfortunately, the report also reflects the disparity that Black women business owners continue to face. The partnership with WEConnect International enables us to leverage the power of the global economy to not only accelerate the growth of our Black women entrepreneurs, but all of the MWBEs we serve." Elizabeth Vazquez, WEConnect International CEO and Co-Founder: "This partnership between WEConnect International and NMSDC is a significant step forward in our shared mission to empower minority- and women-owned businesses on a global scale. By aligning our efforts, we can break down barriers and create even more opportunities for these businesses to thrive.” Read more about the partnership here: https://lnkd.in/e5HZWbme #WEConnected #APAC2024 #WEConnectAsiaPacific #MinorityOwned #WomenOwned #Partnership #StrongerTogether #MWBES
