The MWH/Webcor JV is delivering this highly complex infrastructure project, which will relocate and replace the city's aging Southeast Treatment Plant, for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). The plant is San Francisco’s largest wastewater treatment facility, treating 80 percent of the city’s sewage and stormwater flows. #BuildWithWebcor

If you know anything about the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's Biosolids Digester Facilities Project (BDFP), you know the MWH/Webcor JV's exceptional commitment to San Francisco's Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood. The team recently donated 400+ toys collected over the last six weeks to a toy drive hosted by our partner vendor White Cap, as well as to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, FACES SF, and Bayview Hunters Point YMCA—community-driven organizations dedicated to serving Bayview-Hunters Point's families and children. Several BFDP team members also stepped up to help pack grocery bags and decorate Bayview YMCA's gym for their annual toy drive and grocery distribution event, a beloved annual tradition in the Bayview-Hunters Point community. Happy holidays to all! #WhyWebcor

What an honor! Last week, the Contra Costa County Admin Building and Jail Demo & Redevelopment (CCC ADR) team took home USGBC California's Green Building Honor Award in the Zero Waste and Circularity Solutions category. Webcor Sr. Sustainability Director Sarah Rege, Sustainability Manager Kavita Karmarkar, and Sr. VP, Project Planning Allison McCue (Bernard) joined our partners from Perkins&Will, Vanir, and All About Waste onstage at the Green Gala & California Green Building Awards to accept this fantastic recognition of CCC ADR's exemplary commitment to zero waste and a circular economy. As the world’s first TRUE Certification for Zero Waste for Construction-certified public construction project, CCC ADR achieved a 95.07 percent diversion rate, meaning over 15,211 tons of project waste were reduced, reused, recycled, composted and/or recovered for productive use in nature or the economy. Many thanks to our partners for their steadfast commitment to this historic achievement!

It's always hiking season in SoCal! Our San Diego hiking group recently wrapped up their fourth hike of the year—a scenic seven-mile stretch through San Diego's beloved Potato Chip Rock. This tight-knit group offers Webcorians a chance to get outside, take on some of San Diego's famous trails, and connect outside the office/project site, naturally building a sense of trust that's tremendously benefited overall team collaboration and morale. Happy hiking! #WhyWebcor
