On October 17, millions of people across the nation will participate in "Imagine a Day Without Water," a National Day of Action aimed at raising awareness about the true value of water in our lives and the need for continued investment in our nation’s water infrastructure. For 10 years, this campaign has highlighted how the absence of reliable water services would impact our daily lives—exposing the fragility of our systems and the urgent need for improvement. Today, each one of us can help build an unstoppable movement in support of water. By participating in the tenth anniversary of Imagine a Day Without Water, we can raise the level of awareness that will drive action and, ultimately, investment. On October 17, take a moment to consider what your day might look like without a shower, a coffee, or a working bathroom. US Water Alliance #ImagineADayWithoutWater #MyDropInTheBucket

LAST DAY for early registration! As federally designated critical infrastructure facilities, it is important for water and wastewater utilities to guard against potential disruptions caused by both natural disasters and human conduct. With increasing cyber-attacks and severe storms that have ravaged Texas in recent years, the WEAT Safety, Cyber, and Infrastructure Security Committee has produced the Operational Preparedness Symposium intended to provide a venue for knowledge sharing between utilities across Texas as well as local, state, and federal government agencies. 7.0 hours approved for water and wastewater operators by TCEQ.
