In January we formally announced our commitment to giving back to the community and growing the game of golf through the revitalization of the Maggie Hathaway Golf Course in Los Angeles.
How do we plan to do this?
10% of every LAGC commercial sponsorship deal will go straight back into the community, focusing funds at Maggie Hathaway Golf Course.
Want to know more about Maggie Hathaway?
In 1960, Hathaway founded the Minority Association for Golfers (MAG), advocating for opportunities for young black golfers and striving for greater representation in the golf industry.
Hathaway’s advocacy knew no bounds. In 1975, she petitioned for Lee Elder’s invitation to play in the Masters Tournament, paving the way for diversity and inclusion in the sport. Her legacy lives on through her continued efforts to provide opportunities for minority youth and her enduring influence on the golf community.
