⚡ WORKSHOP ALERT! ⚡ Two key beliefs that guides our work are: 1️⃣ You are not your business and your business is not you (yes, even if "you" are technically the service or product your business sells!) 2️⃣ The more you know yourself, the more others will be able to know you (which is the heart of a strong brand identity, of course) A tool we've found immensely valuable in helping us better understand ourselves is the Enneagram. Over the last year, we have worked closely with Maren Gauldin to understand both our individual Enneagram profiles, but also, BWB's business Enneagram profile. Join us for an Enneagram for Entrepreneurs workshop on Thursday, October 24th (1-4pm ET): https://lnkd.in/eQVgsSFJ Comment or message with any questions. We hope to see you there!

Effective networking - on and offline - is critical to business success, but it certainly doesn't have to look one way or follow the traditional methods if that's not your thing. Casey Carroll gets a chance to dive deep into topics of community building, and taking care of one another in business in her recent article in Authority Magazine. "I think of 'networking' as community building because it emphasizes the importance of authentic human interaction and developing intentional relationships. This gets to the heart of effective networking, but also meaningful networking. This means taking a genuine interest in the folks in your community and industry, and being willing to connect with them on a personal and professional level, with the shared goal of identifying strengths and opportunities, and establishing reciprocal relationships." Check it out, and feel free to share with your networks if it resonates! In the spirit of networking, if you or someone you know is a designer looking to take on new projects, BWB is growing our creative collective. *Our guiding mantra is: When One Of Us Rises, All Of Us Rise. We truly believe and abide by the idea that partnership, collaboration, and diversity of thinking is critical to the success of any business. BWB has become a living model of the power of partnership for many, and demonstrates that when we work together, and refuse to sacrifice our values or ourselves, even early-stage businesses and ideas can make a big impact and live the future we dream of now.* Check out Cait Fitzpatrick's recent article in Medium's Authority Magazine, and how BWB turns ideas into reality (aka businesses and brands!). We brand potential. Let's realize it. https://lnkd.in/ee3uzqNj #holisticbranding #brandpotential #brandbuilding #entrepreneurship #womenleaders #authoritymagazine #wearebwb

In this conversation, we talk about weaving one's mysticism with one's business strategy and how these do not have to be compartmentalized parts of us. We get into the magic and the complicated history of brands and branding, and explore the disruptive power of questions. Thank you for having us! We hope this is just the first of many more conversations together.

Entrepreneur + Award-Winning Media Midwife Podcast Series Production + Mentorship Program for Visionary, Wise Women Leaders READY to Grow Their Impact

In 2022, when Renée Wilson shared with me the new seed of a podcast series project Red for Revolution (R4R) - for which she is executive producer - consulting as Media Midwife, I wanted to do everything I possibly could to support her and her team in bringing this vital, wise story alive. With my brilliant brand partners at BWB - who created a powerful visual identity for the project - as well as reaching out to my network of podcast leaders who can help to nurture and elevate this great work, momentum is building! Last week, we received word that Red for Revolution just won a spot as Official Selection at Tribeca Film Festival's Audio Storytelling Division! To participate in cultivating purposeful wise work through the wild of this era is an empowering, energizing beacon of light amidst the chaos of change. #mediamidwife #womenentrepreneurs #womenleaders #podcastseries #redforrevolution

Leadership Development for Agency Founders. Helping agency founders to BE the person that they need to be in order to achieve the things they want to achieve through rapid learning and peer feedback.

I was a guest on the Questions to Hold podcast with Casey and Caitlin from BWB! We explored the relationship between leadership and business growth, from understanding ourselves to championing our true identities and finding the gift in our blind spots. Toward the end of the interview, Casey blindsided me with this question: She asked, “Would you unpack your relationship with your business for us? As if you were in a partnership with another being; think about the power dynamics, the qualities, the characteristics, how you see each other, how you do not see each other…” As I’ve held that question, more layers have come forward than I could respond to on the spot.  - Is the relationship mutual and beneficial for both parties? - Is it a healthy partnership capable of lasting the rest of my career? - Are my expectations realistic, and are they being met? - Is there room for negotiation and setting boundaries? - Do we need some space to nurture a better connection? If you listen to my answer, I confess that there was a time when I was in an abusive relationship with my work boss (that would be me). He would make commitments without considering my personal life or other business commitments. He was treating my body like a rental car, to speak nothing of my mental health. It wasn’t a good relationship! We’re in a better situation now, but it took work to get us there. There’s a link to the full episode (so you can hear it ALL) in the comments, but I’m interested to hear what questions you want to ask about your partnership with your business. What might you hear if you had that conversation? Leave a comment to continue the conversation! #LeadershipCoaching #BusinessGrowth #agencyleadership #growyourfirm

We recently interviewed Marti Konstant, MBA on the Questions to Hold podcast; part of our special series focused on Unpacking Partnership. As a researcher on how people and organizations respond and adapt to change, Marti brings her expertise to the conversation. Marti and Cait had a wonderful conversation about AI, unexpected relationships, and how agility and partnership coexist together (and so much more!).
