We were proud to partner with WDSU-TV for two backpack giveaways in Tangipahoa and St. Bernard parishes earlier today. Our dedicated staff and volunteers were able to distribute 500 backpacks full of school supplies, while attendees enjoyed food, drinks, and games. As the new school year approaches, being prepared can make all the difference. These backpacks are more than just a collection of supplies—they represent a fresh start and a chance for every child to succeed. By easing the financial burden on families, we’re helping ensure that every student has the tools they need to thrive in the classroom.
