So...I have some exciting news to share! 🎉 I'm thrilled to announce that I've made WayUp's Top 100 Interns list and also won their Creative Award! 🏆 Honestly, "creative" is a word I never thought would describe me. I've always associated creativity with artists, designers, or entertainers—not me. But this year, I realized it's time to break free from that limiting belief. There's no box I need to fit into! I'm proud of the creative work I do. Whether it's in my role as an HR intern at Porsche Cars North America, hosting The Intentional Intern Podcast, or leading the SHRM at GSU Student Chapter, embracing my own unique creativity has been a powerful journey. This recognition is a reminder that you never know who's paying attention and how far it can take you. It's also proof that we can be our own harshest critics—sometimes, it’s worth considering how others see our strengths. Good Morning, I am beyond ecstatic to announce two accomplishments that I have received from WayUp x Yello.co 🏆 I have been chosen as a 2024 national top 100 intern. This is an honor I don’t take for granted, and I am immensely thankful for Doner for giving me a once and a lifetime opportunity of being an Inclusive Marketing Strategist at a top advertising agency. Also, I was awarded the “Culture Award”. My key cultural contributions include creating Doner's cultural newsletter, supporting the #HireDetroit initiative, strategizing for the company culture video, crafting communication plans, and enhancing DEIB efforts in the companies I've worked with. These awards truly mean the world to me. Thank you to everyone that has helped me get to this place in my career!

Thrilled to make Yello.co x WayUp’s Top 100 Intern list, along with being the Leadership Category Award Winner!! 🏆 This year was tough. In January, a bad ski accident left me learning how to walk again. Unsure of what to do, I wrote down two goals for the new year on paper: 1. Improve my physical + mental health. 2. Land an internship at a company I love. 5 months later in May, I checked both goals off. But… one box was checked too early. Just weeks before starting, my previous offer was abruptly cancelled. With limited time to fulfill my goal, I did what any Gen Z’er does best: Post on social media. Shortly after, Coinbase gave me a chance to reach my paper goal (and tokenize it too 😆). Last week, I had the privilege of completing a transformative 10-week internship at Jones Lang LaSalle as a Property Management and Sustainability Intern in New York City. Working at the Google office above Chelsea Market, I actively participated in the day-to-day management of the building, where I gained hands-on experience in operational activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the property. Throughout this journey, I had the opportunity to work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals who provided me with invaluable insights and mentorship. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my Manager, Mehdi Hosseini, and the JLL-Google Portfolio for their unwavering support and guidance, which played a crucial role in my professional growth. I am also excited to share that my efforts have been recognized on a national level. I was honored to be named one of the Top 100 Interns by National Intern Day, presented by Yello and WayUp. Furthermore, I received the MVP Award (Most Valuable Intern), a recognition that underscores the impact of my contributions during the internship. These accolades are a testament to the knowledge and skills I have gained, and I am incredibly grateful for the experience.
