On Saturday, Watchdog attended the ribbon cutting for the latest Mt Airy CDC playful learning installation, The Hive at Johnson House Historic Site. This is the third installation in the Germantown and Mt. Airy neighborhoods. The Hive was inspired by beehives, which symbolize strength, harmony, and community. The design features a variety of playful learning activities such as I-spy, story starters, word games, and a weather wheel station. Watchdog was honored to partner with Interpret Green, KSS Architects, Playful Learning Landscapes Action Network (PLLAN), Derek Weston, and Drexel University.
