  • What a weekend of sport! 🏏 In cricket, Gus Atkinson delivered a stunning performance, taking 5-62 as England triumphed over Sri Lanka with a 190-run victory in the second men’s Test at Lord’s, securing a 2-0 series lead ahead of the final match. 🎾 In tennis, defending champion Novak Djokovic faced an unexpectedly early exit from the US Open, losing to 28th seed Alexei Popyrin on Friday night. Meanwhile, 3rd seed Carlos Alcaraz was stunned in a straight sets loss to world no.74 Botic van De Zandschulp of the Netherlands. On the women’s side, defending champion Coco Gauff was also eliminated early by Emma Navarro in the fourth round in New York leaving both sides of the draw wide open. 🏎️ In motorsports, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc claimed his second victory of the 2024 Formula 1 season at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, securing Ferrari’s first win at their home race in five years. At 2024 Paralympic Games, Team Great Britain had a historic ‘Super Sunday’ in Paris, winning 12 gold medals – their most successful day at the Paralympics this century! 🥇

  • The Paris 2024 Olympics has concluded with Team GB finishing seventh on the medal table, bringing home a remarkable total of 65 medals: 14 gold🥇, 22 silver🥈, and 29 bronze🥉! 🏃♀️ In athletics, Keely Hodgkinson shone brightly, capturing her first Olympic gold in the Women’s 800m! Team GB excelled in relay events, securing medals in all five races: four bronze and a silver in the Women’s 4x100m, narrowly missing gold by just seven-hundredths of a second to Team USA. 🥈 Britain’s heptathlon champion, Katrina Johnson-Thompson, achieved a career milestone by winning her first Olympic medal, running her fastest ever 800m! 🏃♂️ In the 1500m, Josh Kerr claimed silver, just edged out by American Cole Hocker in a thrilling finish. 🏋️♀️ Making history in weightlifting, Emily Campbell won Britain’s first-ever Olympic medal for women in the sport. 🧗 In a historic moment for climbing, Toby Roberts secured Team GB’s first Olympic medal in sport climbing. 🚴♀️ And in cycling, Emma Finucane made a remarkable achievement, becoming the first British woman in 60 years to win three medals at a single Olympic Games!

  • Another fantastic weekend at The Paris 2024 Olympics! 🏃♂️ In athletics, USA sprinter Noah Lyles clinched the Men’s 100m gold in a dramatic photo finish, edging out Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson by a mere five thousandths of a second! 🎾 In tennis, Novak Djokovic defeated Carlos Alcaraz in a riveting men’s singles final, clinching his first-ever Olympic gold medal in an intense, neck-and-neck battle. 🚣♀️ In rowing, Team GB has claimed eight medals: three gold 🥇, two silver 🥈and three bronze 🥉. They secured gold in the Men’s Eight; finishing just over a second ahead of the Netherlands. Team GB’s Women’s Quadruple Sculls also won gold in a tight race, overtaking the Dutch crew in the final sprint to cross the line by just 0.15 seconds. In the Lightweight Women’s Double Sculls, Team GB Imogen Grant and Emily Craig achieved victory, while the Men’s Pair, Ollie Wynne-Griffith and Tom George, claimed silver after leading most of the race until Croatia’s Sinkovic brothers overtook them with a few strokes to go! 🏌️♂️In golf, Team GB’s Tommy Fleetwood secures the silver medal, finishing at 18 under, just one shot behind USA’s Scottie Scheffler who claimed the gold!

  • Another great weekend of sports! The Paris 2024 Olympics kicked off on Friday with a dazzling opening ceremony. Team GB’s Scarlett Mew Jensen and Yasmin Harper captured the team's first medal of Paris 2024, earning bronze in the synchronized 3m springboard event 🥉 . Adam Peaty of Team GB won a silver medal in the men’s 100m breaststroke final, narrowly missing gold by just 0.02 seconds 🥈 🏊♂️ . And in tennis, Andy Murray and Dan Evans staged an incredible comeback in the first round of the Olympic men’s doubles, saving five match points against Japan 🎾 . 🏏 In cricket, England triumphed over the West Indies with a dominant 10-wicket victory in the third Test Match, completing a 3-0 series sweep. Mark Wood delivered a stunning performance, taking five wickets for just nine runs in a six-over spell, followed by captain Ben Stokes smashing England’s fastest-ever Test fifty off just 24 balls. 🏎 In motorsport, Lewis Hamilton claimed victory at the Belgian Grand Prix after teammate George Russell, who initially finished first, was disqualified due to an underweight car. ⛳ In golf, Jon Rahm secured his first victory on the Saudi-funded LIV Golf Tour in the UK event at JCB Golf & Country Club.

  • 🏏 In cricket, England beat the West Indies by 241 runs to win the second test and take a 2-0 series lead. Young spinner Shoaib Bashir was a standout performer, taking 5-41 as the travelling side were bowled out for 143. Impressive performances also came from Root and Brook as both scored centuries and Root became the eighth-highest run scorer in test history. 🏎 In motorsport, Oscar Piastri claimed his maiden F1 victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix 🏆, finishing ahead of teammate Lando Norris in a dramatic race marked by a heated dispute over team orders. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton took third place, following a collision with Max Verstappen for four laps to go! 🏎 In Formula E, Pascal Wehrlein finished second in the season finale in London and secured the world title whist Oliver Rowland clinched the final victory of the season in the race. 🏌️♂️And in golf, Xander Schauffele shoots 65 to finish -9 at Royal Troon and win The Open, adding to his success at the US PGA in May. Despite the overwhelming support for Brit Justin Rose, he was unable to close the two-shot gap on the leader in his bid to claim his first major since the 2013 US Open. And all eyes turn to Paris this Friday for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games!
