THANK YOU Ashley Souto! She has been working as our Marketing Intern this summer. She has elevated our designs, created engaging content, and been a delight to work with. We are SO lucky to have worked with her this summer. Need any SWAG? She's your woman. Her own company, Southern Yankee Graphics, provided our Jockeys and Julleps wine boxes, EdCon SWAG, and more! Be sure to stay connected to Ashley. You won't be sorry. Thank you for making WMFHA stronger!

Chili Cook-Off tickets and tables are on sale at noon today! Can you believe it's time to start thinking about your costumes? This event never disappoints. Each year the booths get better and the chili gets yummier. Special shout out to Hero Creative for mixin up this amazing video! We can't wait to raise some serious $$$ for the Domestic Abuse Women's Network (DAWN) this year! 1UP Floors, Alliance Flooring Services, Avenue5 Residential, Buy Rite Flooring, Commercial Fire Protection, Fast Water Heater Company, Greystar, Tarragon , The Plumbing & Drain Company, Sherwin-Williams

Attending the "Supplier Success" event by the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association was a powerful reminder of the bigger picture we sometimes lose sight of as suppliers. Led by Katie Phelan-Chostner, Phil Cresswell, ARM, CAPS , and Jason Loughridge, the event brought into focus how our work fits into the broader goals of apartment communities. It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind and forget that our products and services are just one piece of the puzzle. This event was a great opportunity to step back and really understand the impact of economic conditions on the apartment industry, the different types of multifamily housing, and how crucial pricing and lease management are to a property’s success. A big thank you to Katie, Phil, Jason, and WMFHA for putting together such an insightful event. It was great to be able to learn from these leaders within the industry and I’m excited to take these lessons back to our team and work on ways we can be even better partners to the communities we serve. #PropertyManagement #WMFHA #SupplierSuccess #IndustryInsights #Networking #Collaboration

Spend this past week, traveling to see our members in Eastern WA. Tuesday was spent with our leadership in Eastern WA planning the 2025 calendar. Wednesday we hosted Coffee Connection in Liberty Lake with Alliance Flooring Services & Rockwood Property Management at Riverside at Trutina. Thursday, I traveled to Tri Cities to host another Coffee Connection in Pasco with O So Kleen Cleaning and Restoration and Avenue5 Residential at The Goat at Broadmoor. Taking time to engage with our members is at the heart of Washington Multi-Family Housing Association. Grateful for the valuable time spent with our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Do you want to be a speaker at #EdCon 2025? Well, Hannah Ashcraft is here to help show you how. See how thoroughly she reads the application? Very demure. Very mindful. Next she thoughtfully puts together her presentation with a specific audience in mind. Very considerate. Click the link below to see everything you need to know about submitting a proposal. We couldn’t ask for sweeter and more hardworking people to come and serve. We had over 80 people volunteer time, money, talent, equipment, and more to rebuild 2 homes in south #Seattle. We are still in awe of the incredible transformation that occurred. Thank you to EVERYONE who made this day one that truly changed the lives of these darling homeowners. Special shout out to our project managers Terry Spivey and James Ohrn (he/him), CAPS, CSCS, CAMT for the hours and hours of their time donated to this project. We are so grateful! #wmfha #giveback #rebuildingtogether #suppliers #propertymanagement

Will you put the #ED in #EdCon2025? Beginning August 21st, we are accepting speaker proposals for our annual education conference and tradeshow. We are SO excited to read your ideas and review all that you can bring to the classroom. Who do you want to speak to at EdCon next year? #Tagthembelow!

Let the #EdCon2025 planning begin! We are so excited to start planning for an even bigger and better EdCon next year. These incredible committee members are going to meet once a month to make sure that we have quality content, a collaborative tradeshow, and a jaw-dropping attendee experience. We are moving to the #summit building of the convention center next year so the classrooms will be even nicer and the tradeshow just as large and in charge. Thank you to our amazing #supplier and #propertymanagement volunteers! We couldn't pull this off without you! Mark your calendars for March 13th!
