Exciting news! Poke Toki is set to open a new location in early 2025 at McKay Tower in downtown Grand Rapids. Exciting developments are underway at Waséyabek family company, Baker Engineering! The company, which is known for its cutting-edge power, propulsion, and advanced technology solutions for the aerospace and defense sectors, has recently expanded its team and enhanced its manufacturing and research capabilities. This growth is thanks to a generous state grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Tom Durkee, Project Manager of the MEDC Tribal Business Development Program, expressed his enthusiasm: "We’re thrilled to see how these targeted grants are driving economic growth in West Michigan. Our mission is to support Michigan’s federally recognized Tribes, helping them achieve economic sustainability through business expansion and diversification.
