Volvo Trucks North America represents the United States, Canada, and Mexico operation of Volvo Trucks, the second-largest heavy-duty truck and engine manufacturers in the world. Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, Volvo Trucks first entered the North American market in 1959 and established itself as an integral part of the United States truck market in the mid-1970s through Volvo of America Corp. The Volvo VNR, VNL, VNX, VHD, and VAH trucks are all assembled in the U.S. at our New River Valley Plant in Dublin, Virginia, while our engines are assembled in Hagerstown, Maryland. This week, we volunteered with Out of the Garden Project, a local nonprofit organization providing fresh, nourishing food to families in Greensboro. From sorting donated goods to packing meal bags at their warehouse, we’re proud to support their Operation Backpack program, which feeds 1,900 students and their families each weekend in partnership with Guilford County Schools. Thank you, Out of the Garden Project, for all you do to address food insecurity in our community!

This past weekend, we turned our campus parking lot into an interactive adventure zone for kids of all ages! We were proud to host the 14th annual #GSOTouchATruck event with Volvo Group North America and the Junior League of Greensboro 🚛 Children had the chance to climb in, explore, and learn about our trucks, along with a wide array of other machines and equipment. A huge thank you to all of the incredible volunteers and vendors who made this such a special day!
