Today is National Working Parents Day and here at Vivvi we know that working parents are a huge asset to every organization! Working parents are motivated, productive, efficient, patient, compassionate and so much more. We also know that sometimes being a working parent can feel more like a liability in the workplace. Know that what we've been told about the value of parents in the workplace is distorted, and some healthy skepticism is in order. 2️⃣ Fake it till you make it. Remind yourself each day of the work you do as a parent and dig deeper to find the connections between your parenting skills and the skills that give you an edge at work. 3️⃣ Share your parenting skills loudly and proudly, they are a part of what makes you such a huge asset in the workplace.
