Trina Pal, MD, MPH is a rheumatologist at Hamilton Physician Group-Specialty Care in Dalton, GA. Dr. Pal is a St. George’s University School of Medicine graduate in Grenada, West Indies. She completed and internal medicine residency at New York Medical College at St. Joseph’s Health in Paterson, New Jersey, where she served as chief resident. She completed a Rheumatology fellowship at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. She has also completed a Master of Public Health, Global Health Focus. Dr. Pal treats patients with chronic rheumatic and autoimmune diseases such as osteoarthritis, gout, fibromyalgia, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, spondyloarthritis, myositis, and vasculitis. “My favorite part about being a physician is helping people, and that’s also why I went into rheumatology. I like building relationships with my patients. I like having a lifelong relationship with them while seeing the disease process get better. I take my time with each patient to ensure we connect, and I listen to them. I truly desire to improve all of their symptoms. I focus on wellness and preventive care such as diet, gut health, and overall health and wellness while also prescribing medications that we know work and are clinically trialed. With medication and lifestyle changes, I see a huge difference in patients from the initial consult through their whole lives.” Visit: https://lnkd.in/dvSHPsKE

Lauren “Lo” Banaszak is best known for her role as a local midwife who has attended nearly 400 births. But these days, she also wears the title of “mom” since having her own adventure bringing baby David into the world in June. Her birth journey started out as expected, took a detour that ended in an emergency Cesarean, and left her with even more respect for her care team.
