    Three perspectives from Visit Fort Worth President and CEO, Bob Jameson. Fort Worth has lots of places to beat the summer heat! Enjoy the Safari Splash at the top ranked Fort Worth Zoo. Relax at Marine Park Pool or Burger’s Lake, a spring-fed lake with sandy beaches. Panther Island Pavilion offers outdoor activities on the Trinity River from kayaks and paddleboards to beaches and boat tours. There’s more film coming from Fort Worth. This month is the premiere of You Gotta Believe. Starring Luke Wilson and Greg Kinnear, You Gotta Believe follows the true story about the Fort Worth Westside Little League team that went to the World Series. And get a first look at photos from the upcoming TV series Landman, filmed right here in Fort Worth. Look for familiar sites like the Stockyards and TCU! Dickies Arena will host the 2024 CrossFit Games this month. Come out for fan experiences at Will Rogers during this exciting competition!     Congratulations to Mitch Whitten, Visit Fort Worth Chief Operating Officer and Sydney Patterson , Marketing Manager for their recognition at Destinations International in Tampa last week! Mitch Whitten earned the Destinations International Certified Destination Management Executive credential and Sydney Patterson was recognized as 30 under 30.     Michelin and Travel Texas today revealed an expansion of The MICHELIN Guide, with the announcement of The MICHELIN Guide Texas. The partnership combines Travel Texas’s strength in tourism with Michelin’s 120-plus years of experience in gastronomy. “We’re proud to welcome the Michelin Guide to Texas because visitors love the many flavors of Fort Worth,” said Mitch Whitten, chief operating officer for Visit Fort Worth. “Culinary spending is the top category in our $3.3 billion visitor economy and we are excited to be part of this story elevating restaurateurs and chefs from across the state.” The inaugural edition of The MICHELIN Guide Texas will include selections from Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio, and will be announced later this year.     🌟 Get ready for an unforgettable experience at MLB All-Star Sunday at the Stockyards! 🌟   Join us for the ultimate pre-draft festivities featuring live music, a special autograph session with MLB Legends Michael Young and Ian Kinsler, and top it off with a post-draft drone show! 🎶⚾️   The fun starts at 12:00 p.m.    The MLB Draft presented by Nike will take place at Cowtown Coliseum at 6 p.m. That event is ticketed through MLB.com/all-star.    The Fort Worth Sports Commission is hosting a FREE watch party on the East Exchange Ave lawn to catch every moment of the action.
