Back to school already?! Where did the summer go? Well…. we’ve been busy! 🎒 Last year’s backpack drive was so popular, we more than doubled our efforts for this year. Last year’s goal was 30 backpacks - we filled 48 AND donated essential supplies. This year’s goal was 72 bags packed… With our employee donations and Virnig's contribution, we donated a total of $2,216 in supplies to our local elementary schools! We filled every single backpack we set out to, then purchased classroom supplies with all the extra funds. Excellent work, #TeamVirnig! A cash drive was held at both locations, taking advantage of bulk discounts on supplies to give away even more. Once we had our supplies, we threw a pack party to stuff the bags. The last step was to deliver them to Pikeville and Rice elementary schools, where every single bag goes directly to a student in need. Special thanks to everyone who donated this year. It’s incredible to see what our team accomplishes together, in our facilities and our communities ♥ VIRNIG GIVES BACK Virnig will be making a difference together every quarter of 2024 by supporting our local communities in MN and TN.
