The Trooper Trainees of the 141st Basic Session are nearing the completion of their academy training. Last week, they participated in Mega-Practical's at the #VSP Driver Training Complex in Blackstone, Virginia. During Mega-Practical's, they spent a week patrolling the facilities highways and it's simulated urban and suburban areas. Current VSP Troopers assumed various roles to expose the trainees to real-world scenarios in a controlled environment, allowing them to learn from both their mistakes and successes. After graduating on August 23rd, each Trooper Trainee will then spend an additional six weeks with a Field Training Officer to become acquainted with their new patrol area. #WhereTroopersAreMade #Valor #Service #Pride #virginiastatepolice
