Ventyr is attending Arendalsuka in Norway! 🌟 Our Arendalsuka visit began on a high note yesterday evening with a wonderful offshore wind event, hosted by Norwegian Offshore Wind, Renewables Norway, and Offshore Norge. The atmosphere was vibrant, set against a picturesque backdrop, with plenty of spontaneous and engaging encounters. 🙌 And earlier today, we were pleased to participate in a session with Terje Eriksen, in support of fostering coexistence between fisheries and offshore wind projects. Our co-CEO Eric Antoons is participating in this multi-day trip on behalf of Parkwind. ⚡ Tomorrow, he and John Egil Stangeland, CEO of NorSea Group will give a presentation at the Belgian-Norwegian Energy Summit, followed by a personal meeting with HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, later that day. 🙌 On Wednesday, we will participate in the success stories breakfast where we will further present the Norwegian-Belgian cooperation within the Ventyr consortium. Denne uken arrangerte vi, sammen Norges Fiskarlag, Fiskebåt - havfiskeflåtens organisasjon, Nord Fiskarlag og Sør-Norges Fiskarlag, det fjerde seminaret om fisk og havvind. Innledere var fra Nærings- og fiskeridepartementet, SINTEF, DNV, Rogaland fylkeskommune, Fiskeridirektoratet (Norge), Havforskningsinstituttet, FLO på land, Ventyr, Oslo Economics, Fiskebåt - havfiskeflåtens organisasjon, Sør-Norges Fiskarlag og The Scottish White Fish Producers Association . 🐟 Det ble også gjennomført en panelsamtale mellom direktørene i Offshore Norge, Fornybar Norge, og lederne i Norges Fiskarlag og Fiskebåt. Arealbehov ble diskutert i seminaret, fordi dette er det mest krevende temaet med potensielt store konsekvenser for fiskeri. I tillegg er det å bli enige om hvilke områder som skal åpnes for havvind avgjørende for framtiden for både fiskeri og havvind. ― Dette seminaret er et element i arbeidet mot sameksistens. Deltakere fra fiskeri og havvind, fikk muligheten til å dele kunnskap, tanker, ideer og bekymringer. Når det er så mange interesser i havområdene våre, må vi gjøre enn grundig jobb for å redusere problemer mellom aktørene, sier Turid Øygard. 📄 In line with the agreement signed with the Norwegian authorities, Ventyr has submitted the notification for the project-specific impact assessment program of the Southern North Sea II (SNII). The notification concerns both the offshore part of the wind farm and the grid connection to Kvinesdal. 👁️🗨️ On May 31st, 2024 NVE launched a public consultation, where inputs from all interested parties will be collected until 4 September 2024: https://lnkd.in/gKdCbv4p Two public hearings will be organized, the first on Wednesday 14 August 2024 in Farsund. Yesterday, Ventyr had the pleasure of attending the North Sea Wind Conference in Kristiansand. It was an incredible event attended by developers, politicians, and suppliers, sharing insights and information in an informal setting. The energy was fantastic, and it was heartening to see how excited everyone was to learn more about Ventyr. We were honored to share who we are and what we stand for. We conveyed our confidence in our plans for Sørlige Nordsjø II and reassured everyone that we are fully committed to making this project a reality. We stressed the importance of patience as we work towards obtaining the necessary licenses. The true scale of the project will unfold once we have signed the main contracts and enter the fabrication and installation phase. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the event such a success. Next week, Ventyr will participate in the North Sea Wind Conference in Kristiansand. Our Project Manager, Jorne Bluekens, will present our plan and strategy for the Sørlige Nordsjø II project. Phase 1 will be developed to a maximum potential of 1.5 GW. Jorne will discuss the project timeline, technical choices, and procurement steps. John Egil Stangeland, CEO of our strategic partner NorSea, will elaborate on supplier and supply chain questions. As Parkwind’s partner, NorSea is expected to play a central role in the development of Sørlige Nordsjø II. John will discuss how the company plans to set up supply chain structures, the required deliveries, and their perspective on the future development of the Norwegian offshore wind supplier market.
