Join us in applauding our Ambassadors! 👏 🏆 It's me, Tricia, Program Manager, here! It's true, we could not be who we are without our incredible volunteer Ambassadors. They are greeting you as you walk into the event, they are helping you check-in, they are showing you the ropes, they are helping you have a great experience, they are posting to social media, and much more! It is my honor to spotlight an exemplary Ambassador today: Baani Kaur Sethi. Baani is a truly outstanding member and leader of our Ambassador Team. Her attentiveness, kindness, and expertise make every guest feel welcome and supported. She goes above and beyond to ensure that visitors have a seamless experience, embodying the spirit of hospitality that Venture Café is known for. Her dedication and leadership have not only enriched our community but also set a shining example for others to follow. We’re grateful for her unwavering commitment and the positive energy she brings to every interaction. Baani is a current student at D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Quantitative Finance. She says that the program equips her with advanced skills in financial modeling, valuation, and data analysis which she leverages in both her academic and professional roles. She says that one of her proudest moments was being promoted to the position of the Chief Financial Officer at the 360 Huntington Fund. In addition to her role as an Ambassador at Venture Café Cambridge, she holds an internship at Boston Impact Initiative which deeply involves her in the impact and social investing sector. She is part of the fundraising and development team, focusing on sustainable investing and entrepreneurs of color. She says, "I am especially passionate about the venture capital sector, particularly in investing in women-led and women-focused firms. Being a women entrepreneur myself, this sector resonates with me because it empowers diverse voices and fosters innovative solutions. I am committed to driving impactful investments that amplify the success of women entrepreneurs." 🌟 She's also a former Founder: "At the age of 17, I started a home baking venture, Bakeology which was my initial experience as a founder. Managing everything from recipes to customer interactions, it gave me a firsthand taste of entrepreneurship and the challenges and rewards of running a business." Very cool! Baani, thank you for all that you do! 🏆 If you're interested in being an Ambassador at Venture Café Cambridge, click here to learn more and apply: https://lnkd.in/d4fDT9Qh See you at Venture Café! 😎
