About us

If pleasure is all the positive in life, why is it so scarce? Valentine International is conceived in a Modern Hedonistic Greco-Roman Revivalist spirit and aimed at bringing much needed pleasure & leisure to a world so dull & drab in which we so often live to work rather than work to live. Valentine International is building a Social Media marketplace where you can personalize your experience like no other, fostering an environment of authenticity and real HUMAN connection. In the spirit of Athena, we are patrons of the arts and focus primarily on building a space for artistic and experiential commerce alike. Founded for one love, for one love for all.

Spreading the love of Aphrodite with the wisdom of Athena <3

To be fully rational is to cut off a portion of yourself, for life itself is not fully rational; to be fully rational is to separate from the irrational parts of life which are abundant and hold much beauty and wonder. The fully rational person will stay shackled to a job they hate simply for the security; while that is a reasonable path and may be (sadly) necessary for some, one would miss out on their dreams----which necessarily lie in the realm of the irrational. And as Igor stated below, "Everything in this world is risky," yes... even your seemingly secure job which you hate. I choose to sacrifice a portion of my rationality in order to achieve my dreams which some may call irrational. Perhaps there is a correlation between dedication and irrationality. What do you think?

As we grow up, rationality often takes over. We start thinking logically and stop dreaming. We play it safe and avoid risks. We settle for less because it feels safer. We are afraid to make mistakes and lose. We stay within limits and do not aim too high. But dreaming big and taking risks: This is where your real life starts. Everything in this world is risky, literally everything. And since everything is risky anyway: Do more things that give you energy and excitement. Step out of your comfort zone: Apply for that job, approach that person, start that business. Certainly, take calculated risks that you've thought through: But take action and try. Even if you fail, you will learn something new: Life does not end there. Because the biggest risk of wasting your life: Is not taking any risks and regretting it in the end. Don’t let rationality kill your dreams: And since you will dream anyway, dream big! P.S. Share your opinion in the comments! Repost, comment and like! Wholeheartedly agree! At Summer Valentine Co. we value our #employees as #human beings first, as #professionals second. We aim to #build a #workplace in which our employees treat each other as (we hope) they’d treat their friends: with #kindness, #consideration, and #honesty #7 is a bit difficult though when you have thousands of applicants 🥲 but I promise that we’re getting to as many of your beautiful #applications as we can!
