UT Health East Texas is the fourth in the world for enrollment into a high blood pressure treatment study. Thank you and congratulations to the research staff, Dr. Frank Navetta, Dr. Robert Smith, the UT Health East Texas Heart & Vascular Institute physicians, nurses and cath lab staff who dedicate their time, skills and knowledge to making East Texas healthier. High blood pressure is a problem for a large percentage of East Texans, but that is starting to change. Renal denervation is a new procedure that may lower blood pressure even if it is resistant to medication. To learn more, visit https://lnkd.in/gPFkQ-P3.
