On October 3, the Bureau of Indian Affairs and NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration joined Tribal and state leaders in Washington to celebrate $240 million investment to support Tribal fish hatcheries. Hatcheries support fisheries providing essential subsistence, ceremonial, and economic benefits for Tribal communities and fulfil Treaty-reserved fishing rights.
