U.S. Engineering team members Hannah Thomazin and Tom Walsh are expanding their horizons abroad! As part of our International Peer Exchange program, Hannah is collaborating with NG Bailey in the UK, while Tom is learning alongside A.G. Coombs in Australia. They're embracing hands-on learning, cross-border collaboration, and even enjoying local culture—everything from Premier League games to motorcycle trips.   We’re proud to see our team grow and learn. October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, and U.S. Engineering is proud to show our support. Many of our team members wore pink this week to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with the millions impacted by breast cancer. Thank you to everyone who participated—let's continue to promote awareness, encourage early detection, and show our commitment throughout October and beyond.

We're thrilled to announce we've been selected as a finalist in the Excellence in Sustainability category for the 2024 Groundbreaker Awards hosted by Procore Technologies! These annual awards celebrate everything our industry can do—and the people who make it all possible. We were nominated for our design-assist mechanical and plumbing construction services at the new Denver Public Schools Responsive Arts & STEAM Academy, the district's first all-electric campus. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and unwavering commitment to excellence demonstrated by every member of our team. We are looking forward to attending Groundbreak in November, where we will celebrate alongside fellow finalists and await the announcement of the winners. Last weekend, nearly 800 of our Midwest team members and their families joined us for a day filled with fun, food, and Halloween festivities at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City! It was an incredible opportunity to celebrate the dedication and hard work of our team. A huge thank you to all of our team members and their families—your passion and support make U.S. Engineering the successful organization it is today. The next round of our International Peer Exchange program with A.G. Coombs (Australia) and NG Bailey (UK) is underway! Over the coming weeks, A.G. Coombs’ Gareth McCrystal and NG Bailey’s Laura Butler will be embedded with our Rocky Mountain and Midwest region teams, sharing and gaining insights on operations, project approach, and innovation. But first things first: we had to introduce them to American football. It was the perfect weekend for it, with both the Broncos and Chiefs putting on a great show. Welcome, Gareth and Laura! Earlier this week, we released our 2024 Sustainability Report. We’re excited to share a recent major milestone: both of our primary fabrication facilities—totaling over 275,000 square feet of manufacturing space—now use 100% renewable electricity sourced from wind and solar. This achievement underscores U.S. Engineering’s commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and leading the way in sustainable practices within the mechanical construction industry. We're proud of the strides we've made and remain dedicated to furthering our sustainability goals in the years to come.
