In honor of Veterans Day, Nov. 11, #USArmyHRC is taking the opportunity this week to recognize some of the many #Veterans who work at the command. Mr. Jeffrey Ingram was a 12B (Combat Engineer) and a 66H (Medical-Surgical Nurse) in both the US Army and U.S. Army Reserve. He retired as a Major from the Army Reserve in 2015. Ingram joined the Army because he always wanted to be a #Soldier and said the best thing about serving was working with other Soldiers, leading Soldiers, and accomplishing all assigned missions. For Ingram, being a #Veteran and working at HRC are important for a couple key reasons: “I have always enjoyed working with Soldiers so working at HRC has helped me assist Soldiers with numerous life (and career) changing issues. Since I completed my basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, I get to look across the street and remember the fun times!” Thank you Mr. Ingram for your continued service! #VeteransDay #BeAllYouCanBe #PeopleFirst Army National Guard U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

In honor of Veterans Day, November 11, #USArmyHRC is taking the opportunity this week to recognize some of the many #Veterans who work at the command. Ms. Alikeisha Waters was a 42A (Human Resources Specialist) for 26 years in the US Army and retired as a Master Sergeant. She joined the military to honor her country and seek educational and career opportunities. Waters cherishes the strong bonds she formed with fellow service members and the personal growth she acquired as a result of overcoming challenges. She says being a #Veteran and working at HRC are important for many reasons: “Having empathy and understanding. I have had first-hand experience, which has allowed me to relate to the challenges and needs of current Soldiers and Veterans, fostering a supportive environment and organization, and to effectively advocate for policies and programs that benefit Soldiers and Veterans, ensuring their voices are heard.” Thank you Ms. Waters for your continued service! #VeteransDay #BeAllYouCanBe #PeopleFirst U.S. Army Reserve Army National Guard U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
