📣 I have a special shout-out for US Ignite / #InnovateDMV and Black Meta Agency for putting together the "AI for DMV Startups" program. They assembled a great team of AI/ML experts (Sheena Johns, Jason Michael Perry, Eric Brown, Jr. 💡, Seema Alexander, Erin R., Kevin Robinson, Marcus Finley, to name a few) and seasoned venture capitalists (🏁Guc Ozenci, Zaria Pompey-Smith, Nina Archie, Mitch Brooks) to train a large group of local startups on using AI tools for all aspects of running a small business. When the city of Fort Worth, TX, invested $7.5 million to expand project funding for broadband, it contributed to an overall investment that will create over 300 miles of a new fiber network to serve 217 government sites and the backbone network for fiber-to-the-home deployment to residential and business customers.
