Fitting in a study abroad program as a double major within the College of Health Sciences? No problem! Our students are experts at making sure they maximize their college experience, and Eve is a great example of that!
Meet Eve Masson, a Psychology and Human Development and Family Science double major from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, who spent six weeks in Denmark examining why it’s the second happiest country in the world. Through the DIS summer study abroad program, Eve took two psychology classes and engaged with native Danes to understand their unique perspectives. She explored museums like the Happiness Museum and spent a week in Zurich, Switzerland, with her class studying the works of Carl Jung. When asked about her favorite part of the trip, Eve shared, “It’s hard to pick, but I loved learning all about Danish culture!” Looking ahead, Eve plans to attend graduate school for clinical psychology, enriched by the insights and experiences from her transformative time abroad. 📸 courtesy of Eve Masson University of Rhode Island College of Health Sciences #GoRhody #RhodyAbroad
