Hurricane Milton’s powerful landfall devastated Florida’s Gulf Coast, causing widespread damage, displacing families and sadly resulting in the loss of lives. This comes as many were already grappling with the effects of Hurricane Helene. In response, we’ve partnered with Miami Herald and el Nuevo Herald to expand Operation Helping Hands, delivering essential relief to those affected by both storms, with 100% of donations going directly to those in need. At United Way Miami, building Resilient Communities is one of our Core Four pillars, reminding us of our vital role in keeping our community safe during challenging times. We’re HERE to help. 💙 Donate here: https://bit.ly/4dCDOVy

United Way Miami mourns the passing of Jack Lowell, a dedicated community leader, businessman and former United Way Miami Board member and supporter. As the executive vice president of Colliers South Florida and a devoted leader in various community organizations, Jack made a lasting impact on our community. His commitment to early education was especially meaningful as he and his wife Natasha are supporters of our Center for Excellence in Early Education, helping to uplift countless families. We send our deepest condolences to Natasha, their children, and all who knew and loved Jack. His contributions to United Way and our community will be remembered and honored. 🤍
