"Over the past two years, we’ve seen tangible, life-changing results for working families in our community," said K Bernard Tynes. We are so proud of our #LIFTUnited program and grateful to the partners who make it happen. Thank you to Penn Community Bank, Paula Powers-Watts and the team at Credit Counseling Center, and County of Bucks. This program provides both financial empowerment and a pathway to car ownership so that Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE) neighbors can succeed at work. #LiveUnited #BucksCounty #CommunityImpact

A huge THANK YOU to the awesome volunteers from the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group who came out to lend a hand yesterday! 🙌 They worked hard organizing winter coats to help ensure those in need are ready for the cold weather ahead. 🧥❄️ After the event, we gathered for a fun local happy hour 🍻 and had a great time connecting. We’re thrilled to announce the winner of our #StuffTheBus Staples Stores Shopping Spree! A retired educator from Bristol Township School District, our winner wishes to remain anonymous – but her generosity speaks volumes. She selected Mill Creek Elementary in Levittown to receive the $500 Staples gift card – and, in a remarkable gesture, donated her own $500 prize to the school as well. That’s a total of $1,000 to support the students at Mill Creek! Today, the UW Bucks team had the honor of presenting this generous gift. Thank you for your dedication to our community and for making a lasting impact on local students! #StuffTheBus #CommunitySupport #EducationMatters #LiveUnited #BucksCounty Pictured: Katie Matarazzo, Dawn Martesi, Michael Nitti, & Marissa Christie

We had the BEST time at Newtown Rotary NextGen's event in Newtown! I got kissed by a dog at Alpha Bravo Canine's booth 😍 my daughter got to spend time with the amazing Michelle El Khoury from YOGAMAZIA 🙌 my son got to see how he looks in uniform with Newtown Borough Police (and somehow managed to talk shop with the talented/patient Juan Ortiz 😆) and I got to see some of our favorite Rotarians (Debra Lynn Porter, Jennifer Ceslak, Jim Miller, and many others). Also, just learned that Rotary's treasurer inspired Nikki's amazingly talented daughter. Thanks to Nikki and Christina Burner for representing United Way of Bucks County! #NewtownPA #Rotary #NextGen

Thanks, Theresa Fera, Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, and our hosts at Delaware Valley University for a great "State of the State." Thanks to all the elected officials who attended. I also want to thank Rep. Shelby Labs in particular. She is great at connecting the dots between affordable, quality early ed/care and a thriving local economy. United Way of Bucks County invests heavily in early ed and care because it's a win for kids preparing for K, a win for caregivers who need to get to work -- and a win for #BucksCounty now and in the future! cc PJ O'Brien, Nikki Farrior, Kristi Moreno
