Meet Jayaprakash Harshavardhan, one of the Michigander Scholars from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation! Jayaprakash is a Masters student in the Mechanical Engineering Department - University of Michigan and is interning at Magna International. At Magna, Jayaprakash is working on an autonomous last-mile delivery bot. They are creating firmware-level software for the connectivity module. It is responsible for all communication between the internal parts of the bot and also of the bot with the external world. They need to ensure that the bot can always maintain a connection to the external world and that there is no signal failure within the bot.
