In 2024, we are exploring how to #SolvePainTogether. We will examine the full experience of chronic pain, from diagnosis to building a treatment plan to discovering who you are as a person and learning how to advocate for yourself. Then, we’ll look at how we can solve pain together—as individuals with pain, health care providers, researchers, and lawmakers. To change the pain equation, we need to start by analyzing the data and investing in more research to drive better outcomes for the millions of Americans living with chronic pain. ** Upcoming Webinar! ** On Monday, July 22, from 1-2:30 p.m. ET, the U.S. Pain Foundation will host a webinar to discuss the Advancing Research for Chronic Pain Act. Cindy Steinberg, U.S. Pain’s Director of Policy and Advocacy, will explain the federal bill. She will be joined by the Health Policy aide to Congresswoman Caraveo, MD (D-CO), to share more about this bipartisan legislation that could improve health outcomes for the more than 51.6 million Americans living with chronic pain. On the following day, July 23, U.S. Pain will organize a Virtual Advocacy Day focused on ensuring the passage of the Advancing Research for Chronic Pain Act.
