If you're passionate about connecting people to good jobs, helping employers find skilled workers, and creating pathways to economic mobility, check out our new Sector Strategies Framework at https://lnkd.in/ej6MWHhj Sector strategies that unite industry leaders and workers through partnerships with educators, employers, labor representatives and community organizations drive regional growth by supporting local industries and enhancing career opportunities. In 2016, we developed a framework to guide the creation of impactful sector partnerships. We've learned a lot since then, so we're updating our framework to include key elements like engaged partnerships, data-driven decisions, worker input and job quality. This resource is for workforce development professionals at the state and local level - whether you've got experience working on sector strategies or are just getting started. #WorkforceDevelopment #SectorStrategies #SkillsDevelopment #WkDev

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), a landmark law that has safeguarded the retirement security and health coverage of millions of American workers and their families. Since its passage in 1974, ERISA has set the standards for private sector employee benefit plans, ensuring that job-based retirement, health and other welfare benefits earned over people’s working lives are protected plans operate in a fair and transparent manner. We’re proud to have played a central role in administering and enforcing these protections through our Employee Benefits Security Administration -- ensuring workers can retire with the confidence and dignity they deserve and can rely on health coverage when they need it for 50 years. As we reflect on our progress, we remain committed to protecting the benefits of American workers for generations to come. Contact EBSA at 866-444-3272 to connect with a benefits advisor for assistance. #ERISA50 #RetirementSecurity
