Today, Sunday 9/8, marks the inaugural 988 Day! This year marks the kickoff of a new, annual tradition that raises awareness of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and mental health support, with each year focusing on a different theme. The 2024 theme is “No Judgment. Tyler’s House for Teens was created to promote emotional wellbeing and healthy connections and to provide a place of belonging for teens in our community. Founded in 2020, Tyler’s House offers a warm and safe after-school space where our Teens participate in creative programming, build trusting relationships with peers and adults, and are encouraged to be themselves. We are one of the few organizations of our kind serving KC metro teens. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, community involvement is crucial to sustaining our initiatives and supporting our Teens.
