1 week from today Ryan Knight and I will be in New York City for the Tuesday's Children "Lessons in Recovery and Resilience Annual Forum". We'll be featured panelists for a conversation about "The Power of Storytelling", and speaking on our PURE CINEMA documentary film work focused on survivors of September 11th. Grateful for the opportunity and super excited to be a part of the storytelling conversation.

Earlier this week, Lessen's Chris Byrne, MBA, SVP - Commercial Partnerships, participated in the 10th annual Military Golf Outing with industry partners to support Tuesday's Children. #TuesdaysChildren was formed in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, and work to ensure that families of the fallen soldiers due to the events of 9/11 or post-9/11 military service always have a comforting place to turn to for support and community. A military veteran himself, Chris Byrne and the #Lessen team are proud to support Tuesday's Children and their mission to provide unwavering support to those who have sacrificed so much. Tuesday's Children hosted a Family Engagement event in Grand Prairie, TX last month with our friends from State Farm! Nine families joined for a day of climbing, zip lines, slides, jump pads, and an arcade at Bolder Adventure Park. These opportunities provide bonding, resources, and fun for Families of the Fallen in our community. One family writes, “Many thanks again to Tuesday’s Children and State Farm for providing us this wonderful family opportunity”.

The support of our community at last week's Unity in Community event was a true display of the Tuesday's Children spirit. We are so grateful to everyone who supported the event, raising critical funds to support our mission. In remembrance of September 11th, Tuesday's Children was invited by NASDAQ to ring the opening bell, honoring the legacies of the people we lost on that day and propelling the next generation into the future with the resilience, community and support they need to thrive. Members of Clune New York were honored to be by their side due to our involvement with the organization. Tuesday’s Children was founded in 2001 to support children affected by the events of 9/11, with the goal of guiding them into adulthood. Over the past 23 years, the organization has offered services focused on healing and building resilience. As it evolved, Tuesday’s Children expanded its programs to include parents, caregivers and individuals impacted by the long-term health effects of that day, and, more recently, military families of the fallen—those whose loved ones answered the call to serve in the aftermath of 9/11 and made the ultimate sacrifice.
