  • All of us at HCA Healthcare | TriStar Division and TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center are proud to be the first Innovation Hub of HCA Healthcare and Care Transformation and Innovation (CT&I). Core to CT&I’s work in digital care is the Innovation Hub, a hospital location dedicated to collaborative design and the development of solutions designed to benefit patients and care team members across HCA Healthcare. As the roots of CT&I’s work in digital care first took shape within our Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville, our team wanted to create a space “close to home” for CT&I’s TriStar Hendersonville-based and visiting team members. Our recent NICU expansion gave birth to the CT&I Innovation Center at TriStar Hendersonville, which held its open house yesterday for our TriStar Hendersonville team. This innovative space provides for strategic brainstorming and collaboration, a place where ideas are introduced and the potential to improve patient care and support care team members are imagined. Our TriStar Hendersonville care team members and leaders share their direct feedback with CT&I to help bring about digital care for HCA Healthcare. It was truly gratifying to celebrate this strong partnership between TriStar Hendersonville and CT&I. #ImproveMoreLives #UnlockPossibilities #CareTransformation #HCANursing

  • TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is pleased to announce its cardiovascular services program performed the first electrophysiology (EP) ablation in Sumner County, a procedure that treats complex heart rhythm disorders. The procedure examines and maps the electrical system within the heart to see what is going on inside the heart in greater detail. If a patient is suffering from cardiac arrhythmia, an EP study can be performed to determine the location of the electrical “misfire” within the heart. The misfire can then be corrected by targeting the specific area of the heart and performing an ablation. TriStar Hendersonville performs right-sided ablations. “We are excited to share another first for complex cardiac services offered north of Nashville,” said Justin Coury, chief executive officer. “Our expanded EP services reflect our dedication to providing patients with the latest technology and expert care for the best possible outcomes.” For more information about our cardiology services, go to https://bit.ly/4dunXJn.

  • Today, we're proud to shine the spotlight on Jessica Woods, BSN, RN, C-EFM, who serves as a labor and delivery manager at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. As a Care Transformation and Innovation (CT&I) Innovation Hub, our hospital is at the forefront of efforts to improve healthcare technology and provides a living environment for care process design and testing. Jessica is working alongside the CT&I team by leveraging technology to test solutions to support labor and delivery clinicians in their quest to improve maternal safety. “The beautiful part of innovative work is that it’s challenging and uncomfortable but rewarding at the same time,” said Jessica. “Innovation may change programs and processes you’ve always known, but it is about making our work better, faster and more intuitive, allowing us more time with patients and families to positively impact their lives and leave them better than we found them.” Learn more about how Jessica is shaping maternal care solutions of the future at HCA Healthcare Today: https://bit.ly/3xHXmZS #HCANursing #CareTransformation
